Starting out my education in Germany, I graduated fashion college at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, (ex-Armgartstrasse), Hamburg and Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule, Halle/Salle, then added some classes at F.I.T., New York.
I am a trained couture dressmaker, and have worked freelance for the Accessories Division at DKNY and as a designer for the women's wear collection at Mark Eisen and the sweaters and Cut&Sew collection for URCHIN. I have a unique sensibility that I like to apply to a variety of design-related projects from accessories to helping to organize your closet.
My new-media projects have included a blog for young German fashion label HOTEL, a project for AOL Germany at the Medientage Munich and fashion-presentations at the artGenda Biennale, Stockholm and at "Envisioning Knowledge", the International Symposium on New Media in Munich.
I am currently working in New York for a women's contemporary sweater and knitwear company, and still find time to be the Creative Director for a NY animal rescue organization.
